Justin Denney is the lead author on a new publication, forthcoming in Maternal and Child Health, which also includes Rachel Kimbro, Catherine Cubbin, and Katherine Heck. Entitled “Social Cohesion and Food Insecurity: Insights from the Geographic Research on Wellbeing (GROW) Study,” the paper demonstrates that greater perceived social cohesion in one’s residential neighborhood associates with lower risk of food insecurity and that is especially the case for some racial and ethnic minority mothers and their children.”
Jennifer Augustine (former STAPH postdoc), Kate Prickett, and Rachel Kimbro have a forthcoming paper in Journal of Marriage and Family, entitled “Health-Related Parenting Among U.S. Families and Young Children’s Physical Health.”
